New to this year: OL Netball
The alumni girls were off to a rocky start as they found their feet on the court, working as a team took some time, but they got there in the end! Drawing by the end of the 1st quarter, and inching ahead in the 2nd, the first half was incredibly close. They slowly grew the gap in points and by the end of the match the alumni girls had worked tirelessly to secure a win, 23-12!
OL Football:
The alumni boys were strong in the first half, ending on an astonishing equaliser. However, stamina proved the name of the game as the senior school team brought it back. Final Score 4-3! Congratulations to the senior school team, we’ll have to bring it back for the football next year OL’s.
We were absolutely delighted to welcome back Peter Bedingfield who presented the Bedingfield Boot to the winning team, we can’t wait to see which winners next year brings!
After the match, players and supporters headed to The Star Inn for well-deserved pizza and drinks!
