We understand that taking care of your loved ones - your friends and family in your future plans will always be a priority. Creating a will is, therefore, very important to ensure your estate is distributed as you wish. Making a will also provides an opportunity to make a final and lasting gift for a cause that you care about. Leaving a gift to The Lingfield Foundation in your will is a straightforward process, whether you include it when drafting your will or adding a codicil to an existing one.

Remembering us in your will is a wonderful and meaningful way to ensure that children and young people in our local communities receive the opportunity of a Lingfield education and our enrichment programme, Lingfield Ignite supports local state school children at a pivotal time in their education.

If you are considering making a gift to The Lingfield Foundation in your will we kindly ask that you advise your family and loved ones of your intention to do so and that your family and loved ones are provided for.
You will need to find a registered solicitor to help you with your will. You may have a solicitor you have used before or one that has been recommended to you. If not, the Law Society can help you find a suitable solicitor and can be contacted on 020 7320 5650.
Wording to remember The Lingfield Foundation, and which can be directly included into your will, is as follows: ‘I leave the sum of [amount in words] or a [percentage] share of my estate to The Lingfield Foundation, Lingfield College, St Piers Lane, Lingfield, RH7 6PH registered charity number (pending) for its general charitable purposes absolutely’.
If you do decide to generously remember The Lingfield Foundation in your will please do inform us so that we can warmly them thank you for your support, answer any questions you may have and provide any necessary or further information.
