2024 has been a momentous time for Mikey porter in the world of British Racing Driving, take a look at his incredible achievements over the past year:
Where it began:
8 years ago, Mikey begun racing on the go-karting circuit, it was from here that his passion for motorsport grew. Following his success within go-karting, he has since progressed to the arena of cars.
In 2022 Mikey embarked on his professional career toward GT racing at the Ginetta Junior Championships. This is the UK’s most prestigious junior series, and where lots of racing champions begin their racing journeys. From then on, Mikey has gone from strength to strength, securing his first championship title, at the GT4 Winter Series. Since, he has also started a degree at Loughborough University, covering both racing theory and following an intense set of driving and coaching programmes.
Mikey will continue to work incredibly hard as 2025 proves no less busy. He is currently racing the international GT Open and is headed to Hockenheim for the third round. It is incredible to see how much Mikey has achieved in such a short amount of time.
